Remote Customer Service Rep

The Remote CSR is to provide excellent customer service by explaining policy coverage, claim status and assisting with claim payments or other policy information to policyholders and/or interested third parties via inbound calls (no sales). You will provide exceptional service by ensuring all inquiries and issues are handled promptly and professionally through the use of multiple... systems. Through training, CSRÂs focus on first contact resolution and high customer satisfaction while maintaining adherence to defined operational standards set for CSR's (i.e. attendance, utilization, call quality, etc.).
Primary Responsibilities:  Call Center Environment - High call volume that you will be handling - Anywhere from 70-120 calls that youÂll handle on a daily basis  Heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers and interested third parties.  Review and maintain new and revised procedures regarding policy information.  Ensure customer needs are met on every interaction (phone, email, written correspondence, etc.)  Maintain department standards for the number of calls, average handle and time management.
Requirements:  1+ years of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment. Additional experience: Receptionist role, a role in which they commonly took calls on a daily basis (Strict Requirement)  18 years of age or older  High School Diploma or equivalent  Remote Experience Strongly Preferred but not required.  Reliable internet connection (Must meet a minimum of 20 UPLOAD & 20 DOWNLOAD internet speed and must be a hard-wired connection)  Must have a smartphone to be able to access VPN  Insurance Industry Experience would be considered a Plus but not a requirement  For safety reasons - It is required that you have or are willing to obtain a fire extinguisher to keep in your home  Quiet & Professional Workplace  Basic Computer Knowledge/Skills  Excellent oral and written communication  Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm  Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions and Microsoft Office  Ability to multi-task  Ability to work under pressure  Excellent organization and time management skills
Location:
 Work From Home
 Nationwide (Not Including Houston, TX, Miami, FL, New York, California, Hawaii, Washington, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Vermont, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maine, and Wyoming)
Training:
 2-3 weeks long in duration
 Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm CST
Needs open availability M-F between 7:30 am - 6:30 pm CST. Will be assigned to 40 hr workweek.
Schedule post-training:
 Candidates will be assigned to a 40 hour work week anywhere between the HOOPS that are listed above
 Monday-Friday schedule
 No weekend shifts unless overtime is presented on the weekend
 Full Time Positions Only (No Part Time)
Equipment:
 Candidates must have a smartphone for this role to access VPN
 All other equipment will be provided by the company
