Executive Assistant, Development & Current (Disney TV Animation)
Posted 2025-04-06This position supports two VPs, Development and two Directors, Current Series, for Disney Television Animation. The primary focus of the job is heavy administration and scheduling in a vibrate, creative, talent friendly environment. The ideal candidate loves to solve problems, creates a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, is self-motivated and able to anticipate and manage shifting priorities with ease. A passion for family content and animation is a must!
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to 4 Executives, including but not limited to, the following:
 Schedule meetings across multiple time zones and departments, while respecting the need for flexibility and adaptability in an ever-changing environment
 Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of company executive(s)
 Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings (virtual and in person)
 Answer and respond to emails, phone calls, communicate messages and information to the executive in a timely manner
 Preparing decks for internal and external creative presentations, including editing clips and mocking up creative materials
 Coordinate travel arrangements and Itineraries
 Update department project reports, talent lists, pitch logs and overall organization of all development materials on server
 Facilitate communication between team members
 Reading, analyzing and distributing incoming memos and submissions
 Reviewing pitches, books and scripts and providing coverage, as requested
Required Qualifications:  1+ years of experience as an administrative assistant in entertainment  Able to communicate with professionalism with all levels of executives, management, and staff, including high-level entertainment industry talent, agents, vendors, and with a diverse set of personalities and work styles  Self-motivated, highly organized and excellent follow through skills  Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a high level of detail and accuracy  Must be creative minded, innovative, solutions-oriented and efficient  Demonstrated ability to connect and partner well with others and build strong, effective relationships  Ability to transition between multiple offices and make department supply/lunch runs  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Apple Keynote and Final Draft
Preferred Qualifications: Â 2+ years of experience as an administrative assistant; entertainment, network, or talent agency experience preferred
Preferred Education:
 BachelorÂs degree with emphasis in media, film or theatre, or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidateÂs geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
