About the position

The FHA Repairs Coordinator is responsible for managing property preservation and repair services for FHA properties. This role involves handling pre and post-sale services, ensuring compliance with HUD standards, and maintaining communication with vendors and clients. The position requires flexibility to assist with various duties across departments as needed.

Responsibilities
• Handle both pre and post-sale services such as lockouts, evictions, and trash outs.

• Communicate with vendors to ensure services are completed correctly and timely.
,
• Review photos for quality assurance and completion.
,
• Interact directly with the client in a professional manner regarding general and specific inquiries.
,
• Utilize multiple databases and software programs to assist in performing and completing day-to-day job duties.

• Negotiate and submit bids into HUD's P260 database for approval.
,
• Convey properties to HUD standards for later sale.
,
• Be flexible for other duties as assigned, including cross-training across roles/departments.

Requirements
• Must have property preservation experience.
,
• Must have experience working with field vendors.
,
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
,
• Background check required.
,
• Drug screening required.

Nice-to-haves
• FHA experience in property preservation specifically (not mortgage/sales).

• Experience working with vendors on bids.
