Senior Manager - Payroll

Description:
• Direct daily activities of Workday Payroll
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and tax obligations
• Oversee daily Payroll Department operations and personnel
• Act as the subject matter expert for all payroll functions
• Maintain and manage payroll vendor relationships
• Ensure full utilization of payroll systems and applications
• Maintain internal payroll files and develop custom reports
• Lead implementation, improvement, and management of payroll system
• Perform payroll-related testing of upgrades
• Establish, document, and manage payroll internal controls
• Audit payroll data as entered into the HRIS system
• Act as key internal and external contact for audits

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and work experience of 5 years minimum in Human Resources • 5+ years of payroll management experience, including multi-state payroll, payroll administration, and compensation • 3 + years of experience with Workday, and/or other payroll and timekeeping software • Knowledge of database and HR systems and software • Ability to write, run, organize, and analyze queries, reports, and data • Knowledge of HR processes and data related to payroll and payroll laws and regulations • Must pass pre-employment screening
