Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day technical support for IBM i, iSeries, and AS/400 environments.

• Perform backups, migrations, release updates, PTF's, and disaster recovery testing.

• Assist with system administration and perform system restores.

• Setup and monitor backups, install PTF's and fixes, and setup LPARS.
,
• Troubleshoot system problems and assist with help desk tasks.
,
• Work as a member of a support team and individually, with occasional after-hours work.
,
• Develop strong customer relationships and promote deeper involvement by sales and services team.

Requirements
• 2+ years of IBM i (AS400) technical support or operator experience.
,
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service.
,
• Ability to work on multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
,
• Proven ability to work with little supervision and a detail-oriented approach.

Nice-to-haves
• IBM Flash Storage experience.

• Virtual Tape Library (VTL) experience.
,
• Passion for technology and a desire to learn new skills quickly.
