We are looking for a Customer Service Representative at our Corporate office in Chesapeake, VA.
As an Customer Service Representative you will:
 Be the welcoming face of Smith & Keene, engaging with customers both in-person and through phone and email interactions
 Process orders with precision and care, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers
 Actively listen to customer needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their experience
 Collaborate with colleagues to streamline administrative tasks and improve service delivery
 Handle cashier transactions and clerical duties efficiently
 Maintain accurate customer profiles and documentation to support our high standards of service
 Resolve customer issues with empathy and professionalism, ensuring their needs are met
 Keep customers informed about prices, scheduled work dates, and any updates
 Follow up on orders to guarantee timely completion and satisfaction
 Prepare receipts and shipping documents with attention to detail
What we need from you:
 High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
 Previous experience with the public in a fast-paced environment is a plus; cashier experience is also valued
 Self-starter with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for customer service
 Ability to read and interpret documents such as manuals and instructions; skilled at writing routine reports and correspondence
 Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
 Independent worker who exercises sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
 Excellent oral and written communication skills
 Proficient with computers and technology
 Team player who takes direction well from management and supervisors
 (Desired) HVAC industry-specific experience
