About the position

The Mortgage Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the Real Estate department, focusing on strategy development, product management, and compliance with regulations. This role involves leading a team, ensuring operational goals are met, and enhancing member experiences through effective service delivery.

Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise Real Estate department personnel, including hiring, training, and scheduling.

• Ensure organizational, operational, and sales growth goals are achieved, with timely loan processing and compliance with investor guidelines.
,
• Participate in the research and development of products and services to meet Credit Union needs.
,
• Improve member experience through technology and efficient processes.
,
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver optimal service to members.
,
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union's products and services, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
,
• Maintain confidentiality of member, employee, and Credit Union information.

Requirements
• Associate's degree in an applicable field and minimum 4 years of work experience in a Manager-level role, or High School Diploma/GED and minimum 6 years of experience in a Manager-level role.

• Track record of leading and coaching teams to achieve high results in lending and service delivery.
,
• Knowledge of residential underwriting, loan servicing, and investor guidelines.
,
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
,
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
,
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
,
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

Nice-to-haves
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
