Responsibilities
 Request relevant medical records from clinician offices.

 Ensure all appropriate documentation is received and conduct follow-ups when necessary.

 Make outbound calls to patients to discuss consent appeal requirements.

 Clearly explain the reimbursement process to patients.

 Document interactions accurately within the billing software.
Requirements
 High School Diploma or equivalent GED, or equivalent work experience.

 Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

 Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.

 Excellent customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves
 Preferred experience collaborating with patients, providers, and insurance plans throughout the billing cycle.

 2-year degree preferred and/or equivalent job experience.

 Preferred minimum of three years of health insurance billing with experience in identifying and resolving claim issues.

 Preferred experience of two years of health insurance billing with experience in identifying and resolving claim issues.
