Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior IT Asset Data Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on the strategic oversight and enhancement of IT asset data management. This pivotal role requires a detail-oriented analytical approach to validate the accuracy and compliance of asset records, ensuring they align with organizational standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong capabilities in trend analysis, policy exception identification, and collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional teams to propose actionable improvements to data and processes.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough analysis of asset data quality across all software, hardware, and capital assets within ServiceNow.
• Identify critical data sources and create standardized processes to detect anomalies, ensure compliance, and reveal trends.
• Employ data visualization techniques to effectively communicate trends, issues, and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business analysts, and process owners to share insights and assist in developing effective remediation strategies.
• Design and generate reports, encompassing compliance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trend analyses.
• Contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at continuous improvement in data management and operational processes.
• Support enhancements in IT asset management, focusing on the automation of inventory and asset tracking methodologies.
• Play an instrumental role in the evolution of the IT asset management (ITAM) program by identifying gaps and influencing governance frameworks.

Required Skills
• Strong command of data mining, statistical analysis, and quantitative techniques.
• Proficiency in handling large datasets utilizing MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Power BI.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow (especially HAM Pro, SAM Pro, and CMDB) is advantageous; experience with Splunk and Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Understanding of the System/Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management methodologies.
• Knowledge of financial and procurement processes, including accounts payable, depreciation, net book value, and fixed assets.
• A commitment to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
