This position follows a hybrid work model, with three days onsite (Tuesday through Thursday) at our Rosemont HQ, Chicago, or Houston office.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Enterprise team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in accounting, reporting, and general ledger management. As an Accounting Intern, you will work alongside the accounting team and assist in various day-to-day accounting operations.

What You'll Do:

Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and general ledger entries.

Help reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor accounts.

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.

Assist in handling payroll data and ensuring accurate calculations and compliance.

Help prepare financial statements and reports for internal use and external auditors.

Assist with tax filings, compliance, and documentation as needed.

Perform various data entry tasks and maintain accounting records and files.

What You'll Need:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting or finance.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate skills), with familiarity in other Microsoft Office applications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.

Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality and professionalism.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
