ÂWHAT YOU'LL DO
ÂAs a Senior Project Manager at WONGDOODY, you willâ¯be responsible forâ¯the management ofâ¯aâ¯complex,â¯business criticalâ¯digital transformation projectâ¯for one of our key strategic accounts.â¯
ÂYouâllâ¯be the main point of contact between WONGDOODY and the client, building andâ¯nurturingâ¯relationshipsâ¯with a globally distributed set ofâ¯stakeholders. Youâllâ¯do this with skill,â¯diplomacyâ¯andâ¯enthusiasm, bringing clarity to our internalâ¯project team,â¯and alsoâ¯to our client leadership team.â¯â¯
ÂThis role will suit someone who enjoys multi-tasking,â¯enabling othersâ¯andâ¯coordinating teams to deliver their best work. The successful candidate will haveâ¯withâ¯strongâ¯experienceâ¯in delivering digital transformation projects with a multi-matrix approach to both technical and business go live.â¯
ÂProject Planning & Deliveryâ¯
â¯Â- Lead the scoping,â¯planningâ¯andâ¯reportingâ¯ofâ¯a complexâ¯projectâ¯Â
- Work with the relevant discipline leadsâ¯and client stakeholders to bring everyone on the journey together with clarity and driveâ¯Â
- Ensureâ¯that the delivery of work is achieved with a highlyâ¯collaborativeâ¯approachâ¯Â
- Monitor risks and dependencies across the project, both at the client side and internally towards the agencyâ¯Â
- Provide regular status reports for stakeholders, including detailed dashboard style reports for the client in relation to this specific projectÂ
- Deliver high scoring client satisfactionâ¯Â
Budgetâ¯& Financialâ¯Managementâ¯
â¯Â- Track and report financial status of your projects.â¯Â
- Ensure financial and utilisation data is kept accurate and up to date on a weekly basis.Â
- Monitor and proactively mitigate potential overruns, highlighting to the Group Delivery Director and Engagement Director when an overrun is likely to occur.â¯â¯Â
- Escalate and resolve financial issues as they happen.â¯â¯Â
Resource Planning
â¯Â- Work with Head of Staffing & Disciplineâ¯Leadsâ¯to plan resource requirements for your project and ensure these are accurately reflected in Forecast (resource management system).â¯Â
- Work with client stakeholders to support them,â¯validatingâ¯they are adequately resourced and setup to achieve the aims andâ¯objectivesâ¯of the projectâ¯Â
WHAT YOU'RE LIKE

- Able to confidently work independently with both clients and internal teams knowing when to bring in support or manage upwards.Â
- Experienced in all stages of the delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering and discovery phases through to running teams and workstreams of people who will implement the solution.â¯â¯Â
- A team player with a good sense of humour and commitment toâ¯high standardsâ¯â¯Â
- Excellent attention to detail andâ¯anâ¯ability to tell a powerful story through projectâ¯dataâ¯Â
- Expert at managing client expectations, acting as aâ¯proxyâ¯for our agency within our clientâs businessâ¯Â
- Confident engaging with client stakeholders at all levels from Product Management through to Headsâ¯Ofâ¯Dept and CIOâ¯â¯Â
WHAT YOU'VE GOT
Â- Strongâ¯experience of leadingâ¯complexâ¯digital transformation projects and programmesâ¯Â
- Evidence of managing multi-disciplined project teams onshore and offshore, across different geographies and time zones.â¯â¯Â
- Ability to turn requirements into project scope with assumptions, effort estimates, delivery approach, governance structure,â¯plansâ¯and budget.â¯â¯Â
- Strong knowledge and best practice approach for project management and product development/delivery.â¯Â
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.â¯â¯Ability to build strong relationships and achieve results.â¯Â
- Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills across all mediums â presentation, written, verbal.â¯Â
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.â¯Â
- Excellent attention to detail.â¯Â
- Ability to manage multiple tasks,â¯projectsâ¯and priorities.â¯â¯Â
- Ability to handle challenging client situations.â¯â¯Â
