About the Role

The Logistics & Shipping Specialist will gather requirements, plan, package, ship, communicate, and inspect all shipments for the RainFocus onsite events. This role requires outside-the-box thinking and problem solving. It also requires great verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external personnel. Although the job is generally an 8am - 5pm job, logistics never sleeps and may require work on evenings and/or weekends. This is a fast-paced, challenging job that is loaded with opportunities for success and accomplishment.

Essential Responsibilities

Internal communication with RainFocus teams to understand the needed requirement for onsite execution

Coordinate with vendors and shipping agents

Build and execute complex shipping plans

Maximize usage of inventory

Assist in tracking and managing hardware inventory

Required Experience/Skills & Attributes

1-2 years experience with logistics and shipping

Strong problem solving skills

Understanding of U.S and International customs laws and regulations

Communication skills that build relationships

Strong skill set with MS Office (specifically, Excel, and Word)

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
