About the Role

The Logistics & Shipping Specialist will gather requirements, plan, package, ship, communicate, and inspect all shipments for the RainFocus onsite events. This role requires outside-the-box thinking and problem solving. It also requires great verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external personnel. Although the job is generally an 8am - 5pm job, logistics never sleeps and may require work on evenings and/or weekends. This is a fast-paced, challenging job that is loaded with opportunities for success and accomplishment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Internal communication with RainFocus teams to understand the needed requirement for onsite execution
  • Coordinate with vendors and shipping agents
  • Build and execute complex shipping plans
  • Maximize usage of inventory
  • Assist in tracking and managing hardware inventory
  • Required Experience/Skills & Attributes

  • 1-2 years experience with logistics and shipping
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Understanding of U.S and International customs laws and regulations
  • Communication skills that build relationships
  • Strong skill set with MS Office (specifically, Excel, and Word)
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
