Family Peer Support Specialist

 Provides direct Family Peer Support services to member's guardians, caregivers, and care team
 Provides guidance to SKY initiatives
 Guides, coaches, and mentors others in recovery
 Assists in understanding social determinants of health impacting memberÂs health and treatment plans
 Encourages member participation in wellness and recovery activities at their own pace
 Executes routine and non-routine business support tasks for the Peer Support area under limited supervision
Requirements:  Certification in or eligibility to become certified as a KY Family Peer Support Specialist  Must reside in The Lakes Region: Fulton, Hickman, Carlisle, Ballard, Graves, McCracken, Calloway, Marshall, Livingston, Lyon, Trigg, Crittenden, Caldwell, Hopkins, Christian, Muhlenberg, Todd  Ability to travel up to 33% of the time  Must be 18 years of age or older  Be a self-identified parent or family member with lived experience with a client who has received services related to a mental health, substance use, or co-occurring mental health and substance use disability  Have successfully completed KFLA training approved by the department  Successfully complete KFPSS core competency training approved by the department or receive training waiver for this requirement
