ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is highly diversified and adaptable, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for managing client relationships, addressing client and team inquiries, new client onboarding, client meetings via phone and zoom, quality control review of bookkeepers and their KPI’s for month end and year end, performance reviews of bookkeepers, reviewing client financials, creating financial reporting packages for clients, presenting financials, budgets and/or forecasts to clients via zoom, training bookkeepers, comprehensive bookkeeping cleanups and restorations for messy financials and large, complex historical catchup projects, process improvement and maintenance, 1099 process handling and filing, payroll setup, sales tax setup, other system setups as needed for clients, along with one-off projects as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and maintaining professional communication • Assist in conducting periodic reviews of financial transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements • Help manage client expectations to ensure a high level of client satisfaction • Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring necessary adjustments for accurate financial reporting • Monitor and verify that all bookkeeping activities comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations • Implement quality control measures to review financial records for accuracy and completeness • Supervise and support Junior and Senior Bookkeepers, Clean Up Specialist, and Onboarding Specialist • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members • Provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback from clients • Attend client meetings via Zoom and phone • Analyze client financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and increased profitability • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends • Identify inefficiencies in bookkeeping processes and propose and implement solutions • Streamline workflows to optimize efficiency and accuracy in bookkeeping operations • Keep detailed and organized records of client interactions, agreements, and project milestones • 1099 process handling and filing • Sales Tax Registration, Setup and Filing • So we know you pay attention to detail; include the secret code word ‘yellow’ in your email subject line when applying • Payroll Setup (Gusto) • Messy, large, historical bookkeeping cleanup and catchup projects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks Online • 2+ years of experience working directly with clients • QuickBooks Online Certified • Quiet workspace for client and team meetings • Remote Work Ready: Equipped with a reliable internet connection and home office setup • Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, tax regulations, and industry standards relevant to US-based businesses • Availability for EST Hours: Willingness to overlap SOME, not all, work hours with the EST time zone (8 AM - 5 PM EST) • Exceptional English Skills: Outstanding written and verbal English communication

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, BUT NOT REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hands on, relevant bookkeeping experience in one or more of the following industries: Constructions, trades, Real Estate, Health Care
• A/P, A/R, Payroll Processing, Sales Tax Filing
