We are in search of a meticulous and skilled Accounts Payable/Payroll Accounting Specialist to become an integral part of our dynamic team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, with a preference for expertise within the hospitality sector. In this pivotal role, you will significantly contribute to our mission-driven community while aiding in the expansion of our Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities
 Uphold and exemplify the organizationÂs Mission, Core Values, and Guiding Principles.
 Efficiently process accounts payable, sales receipts, and payroll.
 Serve as the primary liaison for accounts payable for vendors, management, and project managers.
 Maintain comprehensive vendor records, track the receipt of goods and services, and reconcile invoices accurately.
 Prepare and distribute payments, alongside providing monthly accounts payable reports.
 Handle sales receipts, prepare daily bank deposits, and reconcile daily sales.
 Execute bi-weekly payroll, ensure accurate maintenance of employee timesheets, and manage payroll tax return processing.
 Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and management.
 Engage in cross-training and adapt to various accounting functions as required.
Required Skills
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software such as Dynamics GP 2018.
 Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, coupled with exceptional multitasking skills.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Strong mathematical skills and the capability to solve practical issues.
 Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Qualifications
 A minimum of 18 college credits in Accounting or Business.
 Over 5 years of progressive accounting and payroll processing experience, ideally within hospitality or similar industries.
 At least 3 years of experience dealing with cash receipts and bank deposits.
 Intermediate skills in Excel and proficiency in Dynamics GP 2018.

Compensation And Benefits
 Competitive hourly pay ranging from (28.00 to )30.00.
 Full-time role with anticipated hours of 40-45 per week.

Schedule
 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime.
