Summary
First Horizon is looking for a Card Fraud Analyst to join the Card Fraud Analytics team. We are looking for a smart, energetic candidate with analysis experience, an excellent sent of urgency, and a focus on teamwork. The Card Fraud Analyst will analyze financial transactions to detect unusual or high-risk activity, monitor for fraud trends, and work with our Card Fraud Strategy team to design systemic solutions for mitigating fraud within our credit and debit card portfolios
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
 Independently perform analysis and monitoring of data from multiple sources to identify emerging fraud trends
 Collaborate closely with management and other teams to address fraud trends
 Identify and resolve problems, escalating issues as needed, and contribute to workflow or process change and redesign
 Communicate independently, in a professional and collaborative manner, with other departments and vendors to resolve issues
 Manage additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
 Stay informed about emerging fraud trends, techniques, and technologies, and proactively identify new fraud threats and vulnerabilities
 Assist in training departmental personnel as needed
 Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of departmental work
Qualifications
 BachelorÂs degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business/Finance, or related field OR,
 5+ years of fraud risk investigative and analytical experience or similar environment
 Analytical aptitude, with the ability to analyze patterns, detect anomalies, and spot irregularities within data
 Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
 Strong critical thinking skills, able to make decisions that impact customers and business units
 Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and excellent time management skills
 Occasional flexibility in working hours as needed
 Strong knowledge of Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
 Banking and/or Fraud experience is a plus
