About the position

The General Liability Litigated Claims Specialist at Zurich North America is responsible for managing Commercial General Liability (CGL) litigated claims for dedicated accounts. This role involves handling multi-party claims of moderate to high complexity, ensuring efficient and effective claims service while maintaining a customer-centric approach. The position offers flexibility through a hybrid work model, allowing employees to work remotely while also facilitating in-person collaboration when necessary.

Responsibilities
• Handle multi-party CGL claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity.

• Follow established protocols to ensure efficient claims handling.

• Deliver customer-centric claims service.

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve claims effectively.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
,
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and 3 or more years of experience in Claims or Insurance area
,
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 3 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
,
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
,
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
,
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products
,
• Microsoft Office experience

• Ability to develop and execute a negotiation strategy and plan for resolution

• Ability to identify subtleties in customer/client and/or business partner interactions

• Ability to present information necessary to propose a claim resolution to stakeholders
