Job Title: Business Development Associate - Remote

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Head of Strategy, managing inbound leads, steering deal cycles from initial engagement to successful closure, and representing our organization at prominent Web3 events.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and qualify inbound leads to ensure a seamless customer journey from initial contact to closing deals.
• Spearhead outbound initiatives to identify and engage with key projects and stakeholders, generating new business prospects.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Strategy and the VP of Business Operations to facilitate deal progression by preparing proposals, contract templates, and other essential documents.
• Serve as the primary liaison for prospects and clients throughout the deal cycle, maintaining consistent and professional communication.
• Schedule and coordinate calls, meetings, and follow-ups to sustain momentum in the deal process.
• Act as a bridge between vertical leads and customer success teams to enhance renewal and upsell strategies that align with client needs.
• Cultivate and maintain key customer relationships, focusing on delivering long-term value and satisfaction.
• Represent our organization at significant Web3, Fintech, Blockchain, and DeFi events, networking with potential partners and customers.

Required Skills
• Strong understanding of DeFi and Web3 concepts, with the capacity to convey technical topics in accessible business language.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple leads and priorities effectively.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to generate accurate forecasts and reports.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or analogous roles, ideally within the Web3, DeFi, or technology sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline, foster client relationships, and successfully close deals.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC).
