ESL Bilingual Tutor (Remote)

We are looking for online tutors to coach and instruct students to help them achieve their language learning goals. As a Tutor with Preply, you’ll use the Preply Classroom to conduct video lessons with your students. You’ll also have access to Preply’s curriculum materials, ongoing professional development through regular webinars and the Preply Tutor Academy, and an integrative calendar to keep track of your upcoming lessons.

You can set your schedule and work as many or as few hours as you want, from anywhere. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with students from all over the world – there are hundreds of thousands of students from every country in the world already learning on Preply, with more signing up every day.

What you’ll do as a Preply tutor:
• Teach a language online to Preply students all over the world, on your schedule & at your price
• Create your lesson plans or use Preply’s curriculum for your lessons with your students
• Use Preply’s integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students
• Access professional development through Preply’s Tutor Academy and regular webinars
• Change the lives of students all over the world!

Additional requirements for this role:

What you need to become an ESL Tutor with Preply:
• Proficiency in English, plus B2-level or higher (CEFR) in a second language
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online
• Experience using and/or providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet student's needs
• A high-speed internet connection and familiarity with online video platforms
• Be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful
• Preferred but not required: A University degree, or experience or qualification in language instruction
